Whilst clearly there is scope to extend this into a longer circular walk around Trevose Head, we just confined ourselves to taking a picnic out to the conveniently placed bench above Mother Ivey's Bay and returning back the way we came

To the west it is worth taking a scramble round Dinas Head and visiting the extraordinary Round Hole, after which the coast becomes low-lying and relatively uninteresting.

Like the Pepper Hole further up the coast, Round Hole along with its two flanking inlets is presumably man-made, the result of mining activity way back in the past.
