The family and I visited this establishment in March 2013 and were very pleasantly surprised by the crystals, rocks and the fossils on display. This is well worth a visit if you’re in the area and being a Geologist I was very impressed, though a brief geology of Scotland would have been good to see and hopefully would be added to the attractions in the near future. The Staff were all very helpful, informative and Enthusiastic, well done Ladies!!!

Visited this shop recently and was disgusted by the reception we received from the dark haired, middle aged woman behind the counter. My husband had to leave because he heard her swear under her breath (quite unprintable) as a man asked her very politely if he could change an item he had picked for something else before he paid for it. I smiled at her and she gave me a look liked she'd been smacked in the face!!! The items for sale in the shop are lovely and reasonably priced but i left without buying anything on principle and vowed that when i got home i would advise as many people as i could NOT to visit this shop. Who ever this woman is i would like to point out that manners, politeness and a smile don't cost anything and it's tourists like me who help pay your wages madam!!!!! On a final note I feel i must add that she was the only one whose behavior was disgraceful, the other white haired, bespectacled woman in the shop was extremely polite and couldn't have been more helpful.

I have been visiting the Fort William area for many years. Treasures of the Earth is THE place to visit if you are interested in geology and love jewellery. The people there are lovely and certainly "know their stuff". The quality of the exhibits is excellent, as are the descriptions. I always spend money there and am looking forward to going there at the beginning of June. (Any lovely boxes? I only have 2!) My grand-daughter loves it too.

having been driving coaches on tours for nearly 30 years it is always nice to find somewhere you are made to feel so welcome and special, i mean that from the passenger point of view .. not mine, even though i was treated with the utmost politeness and courtesy i hasten to add!!! the number of times i visited this site is many, but every time i visited with my coach parties the welcome we received was ALWAYS friendly, warm and heartfelt. IRENE and the girls always make time to talk to you and to explain how many of the items are made and fashioned into jewellry. nothing is too much trouble for them. if you are visiting the area then call in. whenever i am in the highlands....i make a point of it.....my thanks ladies....and continued success.
