Hello, I live in Tarrant Keyneston and have done for about 10 years. Prior to this, I lived in Sturminster Marshall, some 5 miles distant, for about 27 years and for much of this time I have known of the former existance of "Tarrant Abbey". This by the way is its correct name. After taking early retirement some years ago, I undertook detailed research. Most of what you have written about the Abbey is indeed correct but I would point out a major discrepancy in that the exact position of the church is known as are the domestic quarters. I will pass on what I have but this would best be done on-site. Yours, Alan John Warren
