In reference to your remark regarding the brick built Free Church built 1904 at Fritham. Bramshaw, Hampshire. The land was donated originally by a Henry 1789-1860 Henbest of Fritham . And the original Church / Chapel was a Wattle and daub with a Straw roof. And was of a sect of Methodists known as Primitive Methodist. Mother Church at Downton , Wiltshire say about 5 or 6 miles away on the road from Hale in Hampshire to Downton the small market Town for which the Parish of Downton is named. Down by The Wiltshire /Hampshire County Border where the name of the River changes from the Salisbury Avon to the Hampshire Avon.

my dad was born there in 1912 fredrick miles his dad george miles his wife lotte marsh . my dad went to school at stonecross now a house the bell still on the roof.we use to collect bottels of the water back in 1948/9 we then live mayes firs hale. dougie miles
