I'm no expert on early aircraft (or aircraft of any age for that matter) but looking at the photographs on the Virtual Aviation Museum web site I'd guess that the aeroplane in my photos is in fact the replica Vickers 22 that Doug Bianchi built for "Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines". Either way I'm afraid I don't have any other photographs. Sorry I can't be more help.

Dear Sirs In your slide show of the Museum at Compton Abbas Airfield, I recognise in one of its photos half of an airplane "Manning Flanders MF-1". Is there any possibility for me to see pictures of that airplane where it is shown in its full? Because I have built a huge model aircraft (flying, 18 kg, 4,4 m wing span) and my only source were some very faint internet-pictures I found, I am surprised to find now your site here. I appreciate it very much to hearing from you and discuss the matter. Thank you very much in advance for your kind reply!! Beat Schück
