@derbda I know I'm old, but I'm not that old. I'd guess not very. There would be far more residential properties; most of the buildings at Blists Hill are commercial/industrial and, as all the buildings would have been heated by coal fires, everywhere would have been much grubbier.

What a brilliant day, everything was fantastic, the shops, pub, iron works the lot. I must also say that the people who were working in the town was polite friendly and thier knowledge about the place was very good and expliained how things are made etc.. very enjoyable will go back again.

Sorry. Can't help you there. I've never heard of it.

Do you have the words/music to the song we sang along to in the pub about building a wall around a cemetry - no one wants to go in and no one can get out . . . Kind regards Debbie Roberts

It's not that difficult surely? Go to the Ironbridge Gorge Official site, click on 'Plan Your Visit' in the yellow bar under page header, and then click 'Ticket Prices' or 'Opening Times' in the menu on the left. How much easy do you need them to make it? Anyway, why are you complaining to me? There is nothing I can do about it. There is a 'Contact Us' link in the same menu on the official site if you want to complain, but presumably you couldn't find that either.

Visited the wonderful Victorian village. Well worth the journey from Gloucestershire. The school room certainly brought back memories, as did several other objects on display. I can't wait to bring my grandchildren to see it.

The information you require is all to be found on the official site at www.ironbridge.org.uk I tend not to put that sort of stuff on my site as it will inevitably go out of date. Hope this helps.
