Much has changed since I visited Gozo back in 2001. Most notably the loss of the Azure Window, which collapsed in March 2017 during stormy weather.
Looking on Google Street View, the Citadel now has a fancy new Visitor Center in what was once two reservoirs. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Maecenas et imperdiet eros, a molestie erat. Donec nulla nisl, ultrices id accumsan pellentesque, sagittis suscipit elit.
Valletta, on the main Island of Malta, has seen even greater changes. The old City Gates (which dated from 1965) were replaced by a challenging modern structure.
And sadly all the wonderful old buses that used to gathered around the Triton Fountain, have all been replace by more modern vehicles.
Dahlet Qorrot Bay is a a small inlet in the northern cliffs of Gozo. It is used by local fisherman who have turned some caves, dug into the soft limestone at the base of the cliffs, into boathouses which they use to store their fishing gear.
There is a small pebbly beach which you can swim from, as well as the quayside and rocks on either side of the bay taking you into deep water.
