St Mary and All Saints Church was badly damaged by a fire in 1961 which left only the tower, a porch and the bulk of the external walls standing.

However, it has been beautifully restored, and is well worth a visit, if only to recover from the excesses of the nearby Anglican Shrine. It is unusual in Norfolk in having a steeple.
