The Alpine Garden
Let's face it, the main reason for visiting the Schynigge Platte is the journey there on the fabulous little Schynigge Platte Bahn. Once you're there, there is the Alpine Garden to look at; entry is now included in the train fare.
However, as at the time of writing, all the signs were in Swiss German and, anyway, all the plants grow in abundance all over the surrounding countryside.
Fine views, of course, great walking, and a berghaus with a rather tired exhibition of teddy bears. Still there is always the journey down to look forward to.
